Lunchtime Arrangements

At Elmlea Infants’ School children can choose to eat either a school dinner or a packed lunch. Children will need to choose to have a school dinner or a packed lunch on a termly basis and it will not be possible to change from one week to the next. (For new reception children – Term 1 and 2 is done on a weekly basis)

As you may be aware, school meals are now free to all infant aged children.

If your child is having a school meal, they will have the option to choose between a hot meal or a salad meal. Children can swap between these two options through the first week but must then remain with these choices weekly through for the term.

Nut Allergies

We are a nut free school due to a number of children who suffer from nut allergies. Packed lunches should not contain nuts or nut products, such as peanut butter, Nutella, some cereal bars etc.
