Elmlea Infant School Parent Teacher Association (EISA)

EISA is run by parents (Mums and Dads!) of Elmlea Infants' School. It is made up of a Committee of elected members (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer) as well as many volunteers. Our purpose is to raise funds for essential equipment and fun activities that help enrich our children's education and learning experiences at Elmlea.

We raise the majority of our funds through organised events e.g. cake sales, quiz night, School Discos and Summer fairs and year round activities e.g. second hand uniform sales. We also run joint fundraising events with Elmlea Junior School Association. Infant school newsletters and our EISA notice boards in the Reception playground and by the Canopy provide further details.

Our children benefit from the EISA fundraising. So please, be part of this friendly and successful team so that we can continue to give our children exciting learning opportunities. Many of our fundraising events and activities only require an hour of your time for further details about volunteering or if you have any questions or suggestions about our activities please contact:

The Utility Warehouse Community Fundraiser

We have joined a new fundraising scheme that allows you to raise money for our school with very little effort and save money for yourself too! Click here to view the flyer

This fundraising scheme is run by a company called the Utility Warehouse. They are a Which? recommended utility provider, supplying over half a million customers in the UK with essential utilities like phone, internet, mobiles, electricity and gas.

You may not have heard of the Utility Warehouse before as they don’t waste money on expensive advertising on TV and in the national press. They pass the savings they make on to their customers.

The Utility Warehouse have a Price Promise that guarantees you’ll save money compared to your current suppliers when you switch all your services to them, or they will give you back ‘Double the Difference’ (see the Utility Warehouse website for full terms and conditions).

The fundraising works like this: if you join the Utility Warehouse as a customer, they will pay a one-off cash donation of £5 to Elmlea Infants’ School, and then continue to donate up to 5% of your monthly utility statement, every month, for as long as you continue to use their services.

It’s as simple as that! You save money, we raise money and they get a new customer.

Joining the Utility Warehouse is easy. Call them on freephone 0800 131 3000; they will answer any questions you have and talk you through the process. You can also visit our Utility Warehouse website: www.utilitywarehouse.org.uk/L64924.

If you choose to go ahead, please give them our appeal number - L64924 - to make sure your donation comes to us.

This is a great scheme that I hope you will join. Over time, it could make a huge difference to Elmlea Infants School. Thank You!
